Les populations \u00e9prouvent de plus en plus de difficult\u00e9s pour s\u2019approvisionner en eau, une situation qui suscite de vives inqui\u00e9tudes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Selon Mambo Kasereka Kalungo, agent du service de la Protection civile dans le groupement Bolema, cette crise est principalement li\u00e9e aux d\u00e9gradations r\u00e9p\u00e9t\u00e9es des conduites de distribution d\u2019eau. Il explique que plusieurs tuyaux sont r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement endommag\u00e9s par le passage des v\u00e9hicules et des motos, tandis que d\u2019autres restent expos\u00e9s \u00e0 la surface du sol, ce qui les rend particuli\u00e8rement vuln\u00e9rables aux cassures.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab Les conduites d\u2019eau sont fr\u00e9quemment d\u00e9truites par les engins qui circulent sur les routes. Certaines ne sont pas enterr\u00e9es, ce qui favorise leur d\u00e9t\u00e9rioration et entra\u00eene des interruptions r\u00e9p\u00e9t\u00e9es de l\u2019approvisionnement en eau \u00bb, a-t-il indiqu\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>De son c\u00f4t\u00e9, l\u2019organisation Union pour l\u2019Humanit\u00e9 Saine (UHS), charg\u00e9e de la desserte en eau potable dans cette partie du territoire de Beni, confirme que ces actes de d\u00e9gradation aggravent les difficult\u00e9s d\u2019approvisionnement, surtout pendant la saison s\u00e8che o\u00f9 les besoins en eau augmentent.<\/p>\n<p>Le charg\u00e9 de communication et chef du personnel de l\u2019UHS, Georges Kinanga, appelle la population \u00e0 s\u2019impliquer davantage dans la protection des infrastructures hydrauliques.
