Organis\u00e9e par l\u2019ONG Polepole Foundation (POPOF), cette initiative combine sport et sensibilisation environnementale pour impliquer les \u00e9l\u00e8ves et leurs communaut\u00e9s dans la pr\u00e9servation de la biodiversit\u00e9.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Huit \u00e9coles issues des groupements de Miti et Mudaka participent \u00e0 cette comp\u00e9tition qui s\u2019\u00e9tend sur un mois. Au-del\u00e0 des matches de football, chaque \u00e9quipe est invit\u00e9e \u00e0 poser des actions concr\u00e8tes pour l\u2019environnement. Pour chaque but inscrit, des arbres sont plant\u00e9s, symbolisant la contribution directe des \u00e9l\u00e8ves \u00e0 la restauration des \u00e9cosyst\u00e8mes d\u00e9grad\u00e9s du parc.<\/p>\n<p>Les rencontres se d\u00e9roulent dans une ambiance conviviale et engag\u00e9e. Les \u00e9l\u00e8ves, encourag\u00e9s par leurs enseignants et parents, mettent en avant l\u2019esprit d\u2019\u00e9quipe tout en int\u00e9grant des messages de protection de la nature.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u00ab On marque des buts et on plante des arbres, c\u2019est motivant et \u00e7a nous fait sentir utiles \u00bb<\/em>, confie un \u00e9l\u00e8ve participant.<\/p>\n<p>Selon les organisateurs, le football est un vecteur id\u00e9al pour toucher les jeunes et les sensibiliser aux enjeux de la conservation, car il combine plaisir, d\u00e9passement de soi et mobilisation collective.<\/p>\n<p>Au-del\u00e0 de l\u2019aspect sportif, le tournoi invite \u00e9galement les familles et les communaut\u00e9s \u00e0 r\u00e9fl\u00e9chir \u00e0 l\u2019importance de la biodiversit\u00e9. La faune et la flore du Parc national de Kahuzi-Biega sont fragilis\u00e9es par la pression humaine et l\u2019ins\u00e9curit\u00e9 dans la r\u00e9gion, et impliquer les jeunes est per\u00e7u comme une strat\u00e9gie cl\u00e9 pour assurer la p\u00e9rennit\u00e9 de ces ressources naturelles.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u00ab M\u00eame un petit geste comme planter un arbre peut faire une vraie diff\u00e9rence pour notre parc \u00bb,<\/em> souligne un organisateur de POPOF.<\/p>\n<p>\u00c0 travers ce programme, les organisateurs esp\u00e8rent encourager des gestes durables, faire prendre conscience aux g\u00e9n\u00e9rations futures de leur r\u00f4le dans la protection de l\u2019environnement, et montrer que sport et \u00e9ducation peuvent se compl\u00e9ter pour former des citoyens responsables et engag\u00e9s d\u00e8s le plus jeune \u00e2ge.
