\u00a0Au huiti\u00e8me jour de son s\u00e9jour dans la province de la Tshopo, dans le nord-est de la R\u00e9publique d\u00e9mocratique du Congo, le proph\u00e8te Dr. MULINDWA Jules,\u00a0 pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 comme \u00ab Ambassadeur de la paix \u00bb, a conduit samedi une vaste c\u00e9r\u00e9monie de bapt\u00eame ayant rassembl\u00e9 environ 16 000 fid\u00e8les dans la vall\u00e9e de la rivi\u00e8re Tshopo, \u00e0 Kisangani, a appris lundi 16 mars lesvolcansnews.net.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Selon les organisateurs, le chef religieux \u00e9tait accompagn\u00e9 de 57 ap\u00f4tres issus de ses \u00e9glises implant\u00e9es dans plusieurs provinces du pays, notamment le Haut-Katanga, Kinshasa, le Lualaba, le Maniema et l\u2019espace du Grand Kasa\u00ef.<\/p>\n

L\u2019\u00e9v\u00e9nement s\u2019inscrivait dans le cadre de ce qu\u2019il qualifie d\u2019\u00ab agenda \u00e9vang\u00e9lique \u00bb, une s\u00e9rie d\u2019activit\u00e9s religieuses men\u00e9es \u00e0 travers diff\u00e9rentes r\u00e9gions de la RDC.<\/p>\n

La c\u00e9r\u00e9monie, d\u00e9crite comme une op\u00e9ration spirituelle de \u00ab d\u00e9livrance \u00bb appel\u00e9e \u00ab R\u00e9cup\u00e9ration \u00bb par le pr\u00e9dicateur, s\u2019est d\u00e9roul\u00e9e pendant plus de huit heures, de 8h30 \u00e0 16h45.<\/p>\n

Des milliers de fid\u00e8les se sont succ\u00e9d\u00e9 dans les eaux de la rivi\u00e8re pour recevoir le bapt\u00eame, dans une atmosph\u00e8re marqu\u00e9e par des chants, des pri\u00e8res et des d\u00e9clarations de foi.<\/p>\n

Dans son message, le proph\u00e8te MULINDWA a affirm\u00e9 que cette initiative visait \u00e0 \u00ab restaurer l\u2019espoir \u00bb et \u00e0 \u00ab lib\u00e9rer les captifs \u00bb, \u00e9voquant une mission spirituelle contre les forces du mal.<\/p>\n

Il a \u00e9galement fait r\u00e9f\u00e9rence \u00e0 l\u2019enseignement biblique du bapt\u00eame du Saint-Esprit et de feu, tel qu\u2019annonc\u00e9 dans l\u2019\u00c9vangile selon Matthieu (3:11), qu\u2019il a d\u00e9crit comme une immersion dans la puissance divine et un processus de purification spirituelle.<\/p>\n

Les autorit\u00e9s locales n\u2019ont pas imm\u00e9diatement communiqu\u00e9 sur l\u2019encadrement ou l\u2019impact de ce rassemblement de grande ampleur. De tels \u00e9v\u00e9nements religieux attirent r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement des foules importantes en RDC, o\u00f9 les mouvements \u00e9vang\u00e9liques connaissent une croissance soutenue.<\/p>\n

\u00c0 l\u2019issue de son s\u00e9jour dans la Tshopo, le proph\u00e8te a annonc\u00e9 son intention de poursuivre sa tourn\u00e9e dans d\u2019autres provinces du pays, dans le cadre de sa campagne religieuse nationale.<\/p>\n
