Un homme r\u00e9pondant au nom de Mumbere Petro, \u00e2g\u00e9 de 35 ans et p\u00e8re de six enfants, s\u2019est noy\u00e9 dans les eaux de la rivi\u00e8re Luholu au niveau du village Mukiyi, pr\u00e8s de Kateku dans le groupement Ikobo<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Selon des sources locales, la victime, habitant de Miriki dans le quartier Muhongo, se trouvait \u00e0 Mukiyi lorsqu\u2019elle est descendue dans la rivi\u00e8re pour prendre son bain. C\u2019est au cours de cette baignade qu\u2019elle s\u2019est malheureusement noy\u00e9e dans des circonstances encore peu \u00e9lucid\u00e9es.<\/p>\n<p>Le village de Mukiyi est situ\u00e9 dans l\u2019aire de sant\u00e9 de Kateku, dans la zone de sant\u00e9 de Pinga, en territoire de Walikale.<\/p>\n<p>Au moment de la r\u00e9daction de cet article, les recherches se poursuivaient encore pour tenter de retrouver la d\u00e9pouille de la victime, indiquent les m\u00eames sources.<\/p>\n<p>Ce drame relance la question de la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 autour des rivi\u00e8res utilis\u00e9es quotidiennement par les populations rurales pour leurs activit\u00e9s domestiques, notamment le bain et la lessive.<\/p>\n<p>La r\u00e9daction<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp; Un drame s\u2019est produit lundi 09 mars 2026 dans le territoire de Walikale, au Nord-Kivu.
