Une m\u00e8re et ses six enfants ont p\u00e9ri dans un incendie survenu dans la nuit du mercredi 4 au jeudi 5 mars dans le village de Cimpwiji, sous-village de Cirhagabwa 2, dans le groupement de Mudusa, territoire de Kabare, ont indiqu\u00e9 des sources de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 civile locale.<\/strong><\/p>\nSelon ces sources, les victimes ont \u00e9t\u00e9 surprises par les flammes \u00e0 l\u2019int\u00e9rieur de leur habitation et n\u2019ont pas pu s\u2019\u00e9chapper.<\/p>\n
L\u2019incendie a \u00e9galement caus\u00e9 d\u2019importants d\u00e9g\u00e2ts mat\u00e9riels. Trois maisons ont \u00e9t\u00e9 enti\u00e8rement d\u00e9truites, tandis qu\u2019une quatri\u00e8me a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9molie par des habitants afin d\u2019emp\u00eacher la propagation du feu aux habitations voisines.<\/p>\n
Des biens de premi\u00e8re n\u00e9cessit\u00e9, notamment des v\u00eatements, des meubles et des provisions, ont \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9duits en cendres.<\/p>\n
Des t\u00e9moins ont d\u00e9crit une nuit de panique, au cours de laquelle les riverains ont tent\u00e9 d\u2019intervenir sans parvenir \u00e0 sauver la famille.<\/p>\n
La soci\u00e9t\u00e9 civile appelle les habitants \u00e0 renforcer les mesures de pr\u00e9vention contre les incendies domestiques, notamment en v\u00e9rifiant r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement les installations \u00e9lectriques et en \u00e9loignant les sources de feu des mat\u00e9riaux inflammables.<\/p>\n
Les acteurs communautaires et les autorit\u00e9s locales lancent par ailleurs un appel \u00e0 la solidarit\u00e9 en faveur des familles sinistr\u00e9es, afin de faciliter leur prise en charge et la reconstruction des habitations d\u00e9truites.<\/p>\n
