L’ancien d\u00e9put\u00e9 national Daniel Safu Butupe a annonc\u00e9 ce jeudi son ralliement \u00e0 l’Alliance Fleuve Congo\/M23 (AFC\/M23), mettant fin \u00e0 son affiliation avec la coalition Ensemble pour la R\u00e9publique de Mo\u00efse Katumbi. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le d\u00e9put\u00e9 \u00e9lu de Kinshasa pour la l\u00e9gislature 2018-2023 a expliqu\u00e9 cette d\u00e9cision par un “devoir de prot\u00e9ger les populations abandonn\u00e9es par Kinshasa” et par la n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 de “mettre fin \u00e0 l’ins\u00e9curit\u00e9 et aux exactions” qui s\u00e9vissent dans la r\u00e9gion du Kivu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dans une interview exclusive accord\u00e9e \u00e0 ACTUALITE.CD, Daniel Safu a soulign\u00e9 l\u2019urgence de r\u00e9pondre aux souffrances des populations locales, estimant que la gestion de la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 par le gouvernement central a \u00e9chou\u00e9 \u00e0 r\u00e9pondre efficacement \u00e0 la situation dans l’est du pays. “Les habitants du Kivu sont en d\u00e9tresse. Il est crucial d’agir pour la protection des civils et pour instaurer un climat de paix dans cette r\u00e9gion oubli\u00e9e par l’\u00c9tat”, a-t-il d\u00e9clar\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le parcours politique de Daniel Safu est marqu\u00e9 par des rebondissements, notamment son invalidation par la Cour constitutionnelle avant de r\u00e9cup\u00e9rer son si\u00e8ge suite \u00e0 une longue bataille judiciaire. Autrefois proche de la coalition d’opposition Lamuka, il a d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de rejoindre l’AFC\/M23, quelques jours apr\u00e8s la prise de la ville d’Uvira par les forces rebelles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ce ralliement est per\u00e7u comme un coup dur pour le pouvoir central, car il s’inscrit dans une dynamique plus large du M23, qui cherche \u00e0 \u00e9tendre son influence et \u00e0 attirer des \u00e9lus et des cadres politiques. Ce mouvement vise \u00e0 consolider ses bases dans les zones qu\u2019il contr\u00f4le, tout en \u00e9largissant son r\u00e9seau au-del\u00e0 de ces territoires.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

L’adh\u00e9sion de Daniel Safu pourrait \u00e9galement red\u00e9finir les \u00e9quilibres politiques dans la capitale, Kinshasa, o\u00f9 les partis de l’opposition et de la majorit\u00e9 se livrent une lutte d’influence croissante.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
