En d\u00e9pit de la situation s\u00e9curitaire actuelle, l\u2019Entente urbaine de football de Goma (EUFGO) a, au cours d\u2019un point de presse tenu ce jeudi, annonc\u00e9 le d\u00e9marrage du championnat local. Le coup d\u2019envoi sera donn\u00e9 ce samedi 22 novembre avec le match opposant les deux champions de la derni\u00e8re saison.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le FC Maendeleo Grand Lacs, cr\u00e9\u00e9 il y a trois ans, a surpris plus d\u2019un en remportant la derni\u00e8re \u00e9dition du championnat urbain de deuxi\u00e8me division. Ce titre lui a directement valu sa mont\u00e9e en division sup\u00e9rieure. Avec ses acad\u00e9miciens, Maendeleo prendra son bapt\u00eame de feu ce samedi. De son c\u00f4t\u00e9, le FC Goal, \u00e9quipe ch\u00e8re \u00e0 Sylvain Kabeya et vainqueur du championnat d\u2019\u00e9lite, s\u2019est dit pr\u00eat \u00e0 mouiller le maillot pour maintenir son leadership.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Christian Lumwanga, pr\u00e9sident de l\u2019Entente urbaine de football de Goma, est revenu sur l\u2019organisation du championnat : \u00ab Nous avons accus\u00e9 un retard consid\u00e9rable pour le d\u00e9marrage. En principe, selon le calendrier \u00e9tabli par la hi\u00e9rarchie, chaque entit\u00e9 subd\u00e9l\u00e9gataire de la FECOFA doit lancer son championnat au d\u00e9but du mois d\u2019ao\u00fbt, mais en raison de la situation actuelle, nous avons eu des difficult\u00e9s \u00e0 respecter le calendrier. Avec l\u2019aval des \u00e9quipes, nous avons fix\u00e9 le d\u00e9marrage du tournoi \u00e0 ce samedi 22 novembre. Pour la premi\u00e8re division, nous allons \u00e9voluer avec 10 clubs, apr\u00e8s le d\u00e9sistement de certaines \u00e9quipes qui nous ont fait part des difficult\u00e9s financi\u00e8res qu\u2019elles traversent actuellement. Au niveau de la deuxi\u00e8me division, nous aurons huit clubs qui joueront en milieu de semaine, tandis que ceux de la premi\u00e8re division ne joueront que le week-end. \u00bb<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Il a \u00e9galement pr\u00e9cis\u00e9 la situation du FC Nyiragongo et de Goma City : \u00ab En principe, ces deux clubs auraient d\u00fb \u00eatre rel\u00e9gu\u00e9s en division inf\u00e9rieure, mais suite au d\u00e9sistement de Kivu United, Likonji et Afia Sport, ils ont \u00e9t\u00e9 rep\u00each\u00e9s conform\u00e9ment au r\u00e8glement. \u00bb<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ugo Merlo Kasuku, pr\u00e9sident du FC Goal, a exprim\u00e9 dans un discours \u00e9mu son souhait de rester au sommet du football urbain, malgr\u00e9 le d\u00e9part de plusieurs joueurs apr\u00e8s la chute de la ville de Goma : \u00ab Nous allons faire avec certains jeunes de notre acad\u00e9mie, qui pour certains vont d\u00e9couvrir l\u2019\u00e9lite du football de Goma. Nous respectons Maendeleo, qui a un beau projet. Ce ne sera pas un match facile ce samedi. Nous allons tenter de bien le disputer tout en respectant notre adversaire du jour \u00bb, a-t-il d\u00e9clar\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Notons que, pour cette premi\u00e8re journ\u00e9e, l\u2019acc\u00e8s au stade sera gratuit. Selon les organisateurs, l\u2019autorit\u00e9 provinciale a pay\u00e9 tous les billets afin de permettre \u00e0 tout le monde d\u2019assister au match et de bien commencer le week-end avec le retour du football \u00e0 Goma.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
