Apr\u00e8s plusieurs semaines de n\u00e9gociations infructueuses, la R\u00e9publique d\u00e9mocratique du Congo (RDC) et la r\u00e9bellion du M23 sont parvenues, mardi 14 octobre \u00e0 Doha, \u00e0 un accord sur la mise en place d\u2019un m\u00e9canisme de v\u00e9rification du cessez-le-feu, cens\u00e9 op\u00e9rer dans l\u2019est du pays, ont annonc\u00e9 les deux d\u00e9l\u00e9gations.

R\u00e9unies pour un sixi\u00e8me round de discussions dans la capitale qatarie, les deux parties ont approuv\u00e9 un dispositif visant \u00e0 surveiller le respect du cessez-le-feu, alors que les combats se poursuivent dans plusieurs zones du Nord-Kivu, largement occup\u00e9es par les rebelles.

D’apr\u00e8s jeune Afrique, la reprise des pourparlers le 13 octobre visait notamment \u00e0 instaurer un cadre technique de suivi, dans un contexte de fortes tensions et de violations r\u00e9guli\u00e8res des tr\u00eaves d\u00e9cr\u00e9t\u00e9es lors des pr\u00e9c\u00e9dentes m\u00e9diations r\u00e9gionales.

Le contenu d\u00e9taill\u00e9 du m\u00e9canisme, ainsi que l\u2019identit\u00e9 des acteurs charg\u00e9s de sa mise en \u0153uvre, n\u2019ont pas \u00e9t\u00e9 imm\u00e9diatement pr\u00e9cis\u00e9s.

Les discussions \u00e0 Doha interviennent alors que les efforts diplomatiques r\u00e9gionaux\u00a0 notamment men\u00e9s par l\u2019EAC et la CIRGL\u00a0 s’\u00e9taient r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9s incapables \u00e0 imposer une solution durable au conflit, qui a d\u00e9j\u00e0 d\u00e9plac\u00e9 des centaines de milliers de civils.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
