Ce vendredi 3 octobre 2025 marque le premier anniversaire du naufrage du bateau Merdi (Mer\u00adveille de Dieu – MV\/Merdi), un drame qui avait endeuill\u00e9 de nombreuses familles \u00e0 Minova, dans le territoire de Kalehe (Sud-Kivu). Un an plus tard, certaines victimes contact\u00e9es se disent toujours abandonn\u00e9es \u00e0 leur sort et plong\u00e9es dans une mis\u00e8re profonde.<\/strong>

Elles d\u00e9noncent notamment les promesses non tenues des autorit\u00e9s congolaises, qui leur avaient garanti un accompagnement suite \u00e0 la trag\u00e9die.

\u00ab Nous sommes tr\u00e8s d\u00e9\u00e7us. Personnellement, j\u2019ai 4 orphelins chez moi. Leurs parents se sont noy\u00e9s avec tout l\u2019argent qu\u2019ils transportaient pour acheter des marchandises \u00e0 Goma. Je suis incapable de payer leurs frais scolaires. \u00c0 l\u2019\u00e9poque, le gouverneur avait promis une aide financi\u00e8re, mais jusqu\u2019\u00e0 pr\u00e9sent, rien n\u2019a \u00e9t\u00e9 fait \u00bb, t\u00e9moigne Maombi Furaha, l\u2019une des victimes de Minova.


Outre les difficult\u00e9s \u00e9conomiques, l\u2019aspect psychologique p\u00e8se \u00e9galement sur les familles. Certaines victimes affichent encore des signes de traumatisme, dans un contexte d\u00e9j\u00e0 fragile \u00e0 l\u2019est de la RDC.

Face \u00e0 cette situation, des jeunes leaders de la r\u00e9gion, eux aussi affect\u00e9s, ont lanc\u00e9 un message de r\u00e9confort et d\u2019unit\u00e9, appelant les autorit\u00e9s et les partenaires \u00e0 agir concr\u00e8tement pour soutenir les survivants.
