Deux graves accidents de circulation ont \u00e9t\u00e9 enregistr\u00e9s en R\u00e9publique d\u00e9mocratique du Congo, l\u2019un \u00e0 Kinshasa et l\u2019autre dans la province du Kongo Central, causant la mort d\u2019au moins 13 personnes et faisant craindre un bilan plus lourd.<\/strong><\/p>\r\n

Le premier drame s\u2019est produit ce vendredi matin \u00e0 Matadi Kibala, sur la route nationale num\u00e9ro 1, dans la commune de Mont Ngafula, \u00e0 l\u2019ouest de la capitale.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n

Un camion benne transportant des denr\u00e9es alimentaires, en provenance du Kongo Central, a violemment percut\u00e9 une remorque stationn\u00e9e sur sa trajectoire.<\/p>\r\n

Selon plusieurs t\u00e9moins interrog\u00e9s sur place, l\u2019accident serait d\u00fb \u00e0 un probl\u00e8me de freinage sur une pente particuli\u00e8rement dangereuse.<\/p>\r\n

“Le chauffeur a perdu le contr\u00f4le dans la descente, les freins ne r\u00e9pondaient plus”, a expliqu\u00e9 un habitant pr\u00e9sent lors de la collision.<\/p>\r\n

Notre reporter sur les lieux a constat\u00e9 que deux corps \u00e9taient toujours coinc\u00e9s dans l\u2019\u00e9pave du camion, tandis que des riverains tentaient de les extraire \u00e0 l\u2019aide de moyens rudimentaires. Les autorit\u00e9s locales ne s\u2019\u00e9taient pas encore exprim\u00e9es \u00e0 l\u2019heure de la publication.<\/p>\r\n

Un autre accident mortel s\u2019est produit jeudi 25 septembre dans la montagne Dilombele, dans le territoire de Mbanza-Ngungu, \u00e9galement dans la province du Kongo Central. Selon le d\u00e9put\u00e9 national Ephremy Nsumbu, le bilan provisoire s\u2019\u00e9l\u00e8ve \u00e0 13 morts.<\/p>\r\n

“Des corps sont toujours sous les d\u00e9combres”, a-t-il indiqu\u00e9, appelant \u00e0 un renforcement des mesures de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 routi\u00e8re, notamment dans les zones montagneuses particuli\u00e8rement accidentog\u00e8nes de la r\u00e9gion.<\/p>\r\n

Le manque de contr\u00f4le technique des v\u00e9hicules, et l\u2019absence d\u2019une r\u00e9gulation stricte du transport routier en RDC, o\u00f9 les accidents sont fr\u00e9quents et souvent meurtriers.<\/p>\r\n
