Vers 4 heures pass\u00e9es de quelques minutes, nous avons vu les flammes commencer \u00e0 envahir la maison \u00bb, a racont\u00e9&nbsp; Alice Vangi, une voisine.<br><br>Selon des t\u00e9moignages recueillis sur place, l\u2019origine du feu serait li\u00e9e \u00e0 un court-circuit \u00e9lectrique, bien que cette hypoth\u00e8se soit contest\u00e9e par d&#8217;autres habitants qui \u00e9voquent plut\u00f4t une possible n\u00e9gligence domestique.<br><br>Les secours n\u2019ont pas pu intervenir \u00e0 temps.<br><br> \u00ab Arriv\u00e9 sur les lieux, j\u2019ai appel\u00e9 un camion anti-incendie qui n\u2019a malheureusement pas pu se d\u00e9placer. Les jeunes du quartier ont tent\u00e9 de ma\u00eetriser le feu, mais nous n\u2019avons pas pu sauver la vie de l\u2019enfant \u00bb, a d\u00e9plor\u00e9 H\u00e9ritier, un jeune leader communautaire local.<br><br>Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 l&#8217;intervention des riverains, le sinistre a finalement \u00e9t\u00e9 circonscrit, emp\u00eachant sa propagation \u00e0 d&#8217;autres habitations.<br><br> \u00ab Le feu a \u00e9t\u00e9 ma\u00eetris\u00e9 \u00e0 temps pour \u00e9viter que d\u2019autres maisons ne soient touch\u00e9es \u00bb, a pr\u00e9cis\u00e9 H\u00e9ritier.<br><br>Ce drame survient alors que la ville de Goma, capitale de la province du Nord-Kivu, fait face \u00e0 une s\u00e9rie d\u2019incendies inqui\u00e9tants. En moins de 24 heures, trois incendies distincts ont \u00e9t\u00e9 signal\u00e9s, pendant que cette ville est sous l\u2019administration du mouvement rebelle M23-AFC, qui contr\u00f4le actuellement la r\u00e9gion.
