Apr\u00e8s plusieurs jours de rumeurs, l\u2019Union pour la d\u00e9mocratie et le progr\u00e8s social (UDPS) a confirm\u00e9 l\u2019information.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mardi 15 juillet, lors d\u2019une matin\u00e9e politique organis\u00e9e au si\u00e8ge du parti pr\u00e9sidentiel, le secr\u00e9taire g\u00e9n\u00e9ral de l\u2019UDPS, Augustin Kabuya, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 devant les militants que le g\u00e9n\u00e9ral Tshiwewe serait impliqu\u00e9 dans un complot visant \u00e0 attenter \u00e0 la vie du chef de l\u2019\u00c9tat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00ab Ce n\u2019est pas une affaire de communaut\u00e9s. Le jour de son interpellation, certains ont tent\u00e9 d\u2019ethniciser l\u2019affaire. Mais le pr\u00e9sident Tshisekedi a-t-il nomm\u00e9 ces officiers en fonction de leur appartenance communautaire ? \u00bb, s\u2019est insurg\u00e9 Kabuya. Il a ajout\u00e9 que lors de son audition, le g\u00e9n\u00e9ral Tshiwewe n\u2019aurait pas contest\u00e9 les accusations port\u00e9es contre lui.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00ab Ce n\u2019est pas une chose l\u00e9g\u00e8re. Il s\u2019agit de la vie d\u2019un homme, d\u2019un p\u00e8re, d\u2019une institution de la R\u00e9publique. Et on voudrait qu\u2019il ne soit m\u00eame pas interrog\u00e9 ? \u00bb, a-t-il poursuivi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Face aux inqui\u00e9tudes croissantes au sein de l\u2019arm\u00e9e et de l\u2019opinion publique, les autorit\u00e9s militaires cherchent \u00e0 rassurer. Le chef d\u2019\u00e9tat-major g\u00e9n\u00e9ral, le lieutenant-g\u00e9n\u00e9ral Jules Banza Mwilambwe, a pr\u00e9cis\u00e9 que l\u2019interpellation d\u2019un officier ne signifie pas automatiquement sa culpabilit\u00e9. \u00ab Ceux contre qui il n\u2019y a pas de charges seront rel\u00e2ch\u00e9s. Les autres r\u00e9pondront devant la justice \u00bb, a-t-il affirm\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>M\u00eame son de cloche du c\u00f4t\u00e9 du porte-parole des FARDC, le g\u00e9n\u00e9ral-major Sylvain Ekenge, qui a soulign\u00e9 que ces mesures sont motiv\u00e9es par de graves violations de la discipline militaire, et non par des consid\u00e9rations ethniques. \u00ab Ces interpellations sont justifi\u00e9es par des faits \u00e9tablis, contraires \u00e0 la loi. L\u2019arm\u00e9e reste attach\u00e9e \u00e0 la rigueur, \u00e0 l\u2019int\u00e9grit\u00e9 et au respect des normes r\u00e9publicaines \u00bb, a-t-il d\u00e9clar\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cette affaire survient dans un contexte s\u00e9curitaire tendu, alors que le pays fait face \u00e0 la r\u00e9bellion du M23 soutenue par le Rwanda, et que certaines voix d\u00e9noncent une pr\u00e9tendue chasse aux officiers swahiliphones sous le r\u00e9gime Tshisekedi.
