Je suis tr\u00e8s content pour cette p\u00e9riode de la f\u00eate, parce qu\u2019en ce moment, nous vendons bien. Nos marchandises s\u2019\u00e9coulent rapidement, et nous r\u00e9alisons des profits assez int\u00e9ressants&#8221;, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 James Amuli, un jeune commer\u00e7ant vendeur de poulets de chair, rencontr\u00e9 au march\u00e9 Birere, dans le quartier Mapendo.<\/p>\n<p>Selon lui, les prix ont augment\u00e9 de fa\u00e7on significative par rapport \u00e0 d\u2019autres p\u00e9riodes : &#8220;Avant, je vendais un poulet de chair \u00e0 5$ ou 6$, mais pour le moment, je le vends \u00e0 8$ et les clients viennent en acheter suffisamment.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Cette dynamique favorable se refl\u00e8te \u00e9galement chez d&#8217;autres commer\u00e7ants du march\u00e9. Mme Jemima Amundala, vendeuse de pommes de terre, a exprim\u00e9 sa satisfaction : &#8220;Si tous les mois \u00e9taient comme le mois de d\u00e9cembre, mon commerce pourrait vraiment prosp\u00e9rer. Durant cette p\u00e9riode de f\u00eate, je parviens \u00e0 \u00e9couler un sac de pommes de terre en une seule journ\u00e9e, gr\u00e2ce aux nombreuses commandes de mes clients.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Le march\u00e9 Birere, v\u00e9ritable poumon \u00e9conomique de la commune de Goma, devient ainsi un lieu de rassemblement populaire, o\u00f9 l&#8217;espoir d&#8217;une meilleure ann\u00e9e se m\u00eale \u00e0 l&#8217;optimisme des commer\u00e7ants.<\/p>\n<p>Cependant, au-del\u00e0 des festivit\u00e9s, des voix s&#8217;\u00e9l\u00e8vent pour rappeler les difficult\u00e9s qui marquent la vie quotidienne dans cette partie du pays. Mme Aimerance Watuta, une habitante de Goma, a exprim\u00e9 son ressenti .<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Je suis oblig\u00e9e de f\u00eater avec ma famille, mais aussi avec mes amies et connaissances, c&#8217;est une mani\u00e8re pour moi de remercier le Seigneur. Commencer et finir une ann\u00e9e est une gr\u00e2ce divine qui n&#8217;est pas donn\u00e9e \u00e0 tout le monde.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Malgr\u00e9 la crise \u00e9conomique qui secoue la r\u00e9gion, elle a soulign\u00e9 sa d\u00e9termination.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;M\u00eame si les temps sont difficiles, je vais me d\u00e9brouiller avec le peu d&#8217;argent que j&#8217;ai \u00e9pargn\u00e9 pour acheter \u00e0 manger et \u00e0 boire afin de f\u00eater avec mes proches.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Le 31 d\u00e9cembre, jour de la Saint-Sylvestre, est pour de nombreux croyants l\u2019occasion de rendre gr\u00e2ce et d\u2019adresser des pri\u00e8res pour une transition paisible vers la nouvelle ann\u00e9e.
