Un accident de circulation a eu lieu ce mardi 24 d\u00e9cembre matin, 24 d\u00e9cembre 2024, sur le tron\u00e7on routier Ulpgl-Kituku, au quartier Kyeshero, dans la commune de Goma, province du Nord-Kivu. Un camion-citerne a percut\u00e9 plusieurs v\u00e9hicules et pi\u00e9tons, faisant un mort et deux bless\u00e9s<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Selon un t\u00e9moin, un taximan motard pr\u00e9sent sur les lieux, l’incident s’est produit alors qu’il \u00e9tait en route vers le port de Kituku.<\/p>\n

“Nous \u00e9tions en direction du port de Kituku lorsque ce v\u00e9hicule nous a heurt\u00e9s par derri\u00e8re. Ma cliente est d\u00e9c\u00e9d\u00e9e sur place avant que le camion ne percute un autre motard, qui est gravement bless\u00e9”, a-t-il expliqu\u00e9, visiblement sous le choc.<\/p>\n

L’accident semble avoir \u00e9t\u00e9 caus\u00e9 par un probl\u00e8me de freinage du camion, ce qui a entra\u00een\u00e9 une perte de contr\u00f4le du v\u00e9hicule.<\/p>\n

“Il s’agit d’un camion-citerne qui a eu un probl\u00e8me de freinage avant de finir sa course sur les victimes”, a pr\u00e9cis\u00e9 le taximan motard.<\/p>\n

Les habitants de Goma, constern\u00e9s par cet accident, ont exprim\u00e9 leur frustration face \u00e0 la r\u00e9currence de tels incidents sur cette portion de route.<\/p>\n

“Nous demandons au gouvernement de desservir la population en eau potable ou carr\u00e9ment interdire les gros camions de circuler pendant la journ\u00e9e pour \u00e9viter de tels cas. Le gouvernement ne manque de rien pour s\u00e9curiser la population”, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Mathias Kambale, un autre t\u00e9moin de l’accident.<\/p>\n

Les services de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 ont rapidement ma\u00eetris\u00e9 le chauffeur du camion-citerne, qui avait tent\u00e9 de fuir les lieux de l’accident. Quant aux bless\u00e9s, ils ont \u00e9t\u00e9 imm\u00e9diatement transport\u00e9s \u00e0 l’h\u00f4pital g\u00e9n\u00e9ral de r\u00e9f\u00e9rence de Kyeshero pour recevoir des soins m\u00e9dicaux. Le corps de la victime d\u00e9c\u00e9d\u00e9e a \u00e9t\u00e9 conduit \u00e0 la morgue du m\u00eame \u00e9tablissement.<\/p>\n
