Le vendredi 06 septembre 2024, le Comit\u00e9 International de la Croix-Rouge CICR a dot\u00e9 le centre m\u00e9dical \u00e9vang\u00e9lique appel\u00e9 affectueusement \u00ab h\u00f4pital g\u00e9n\u00e9ral de Nyakunde \u00bb d’une ambulance. Cette structure sanitaire situ\u00e9e dans la chefferie des Andisoma en territoire d’Irumu a \u00e9t\u00e9 cr\u00e9\u00e9e en 1965<\/strong>.

Le CICR, une organisation qui soutient les victimes des conflits arm\u00e9s inscrit cette donation dans le cadre de renforcement de partenariat avec cet h\u00f4pital sign\u00e9 depuis le mois de septembre 2021. Ce premier engin roulant dot\u00e9 au CME Nyakunde depuis sa cr\u00e9ation facilitera, selon la cheffe adjointe de la sous-d\u00e9l\u00e9gation CICR\/Bunia, l’acc\u00e8s gratuit aux soins de sant\u00e9 primaires des malades les plus vuln\u00e9rables.

M\u00e9lanie Isabelle appelle les autorit\u00e9s sanitaires de cet h\u00f4pital \u00e0 une utilisation rationnelle afin de sauver les vies humaines.

\u00ab Chers m\u00e9decins, cette ambulance est remise \u00e0 votre enti\u00e8re disponibilit\u00e9. C’est votre ambulance, faites-en son bon usage car CICR ne s’impr\u00e9gnera pas de son usage<\/em> \u00bb a-t-elle dit dans son mot de circonstance sur place \u00e0 Nyakunde, entit\u00e9 situ\u00e9e \u00e0 une quarantaine de kilom\u00e8tres au sud de Bunia, chef-lieu de la province de l’Ituri.

Le chef de la chefferie des Andisoma a, pour sa part remerci\u00e9, l’\u00e9quipe du CICR tout en leur expliquant que cet acte renforce la coh\u00e9sion sociale dans ce territoire.

\u00ab Ceci vient encore renforcer la coh\u00e9sion sociale entre les diff\u00e9rentes communaut\u00e9s que compose notre territoire. M\u00eame s’il y a un malade \u00e0 Sota, il nous viendra plus rapidement \u00e0 l’h\u00f4pital gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 cette ambulance<\/em> \u00bb, a indiqu\u00e9 Mathieu Anzabo, chef de la chefferie des Andisoma.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Une dotation qui arrive au bon moment alors que cet h\u00f4pital \u00e9tait dans le besoin d’une ambulance pour ramener des malades de toutes 11 aires de sant\u00e9 qui le composent, r\u00e9v\u00e8lent les sources m\u00e9dicales locales.

D’apr\u00e8s ces derni\u00e8res, cette infrastructure sanitaire a enregistr\u00e9 des cas de mort faute de manque de mobilit\u00e9 car les malades n’arrivaient pas \u00e0 temps encore dans des mauvaises conditions qui occasionnaient leur mort en mi-chemin. Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 l’appui du CICR, d\u00e9sormais ce probl\u00e8me est r\u00e9solu, relate le m\u00e9decin chef de zone.

\u00ab Le besoin \u00e9tait criant, nous avions une probl\u00e9matique de transfert des malades apr\u00e8s tout ce que nous avons connu comme hostilit\u00e9. L’ambulance va nous aider \u00e0 ramener les malades en \u00e9tant critique rapidement et dans les bonnes conditions du centre de sant\u00e9 vers l’h\u00f4pital g\u00e9n\u00e9ral de r\u00e9f\u00e9rence de Nyakunde<\/em> \u00bb a dit docteur D\u00e9sir\u00e9 Duabo, m\u00e9decin chef de zone.

Signalons que cette ambulance est la toute premi\u00e8re qu’a re\u00e7u cet h\u00f4pital bien qu’il soit l’un des plus grands h\u00f4pitaux de la province de l’Ituri, selon les sources coutumi\u00e8res et m\u00e9dicales locales.
