Une enqu\u00eate a \u00e9t\u00e9 ouverte pour d\u00e9terminer les circonstances exactes de sa mort.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Selon les premiers t\u00e9moignages recueillis par le site lesvolcansnews.net, Yves aurait \u00e9t\u00e9 vu pour la derni\u00e8re fois quelques jours avant que son corps ne soit d\u00e9couvert. La communaut\u00e9 artistique de Bukavu, sa ville natale, ainsi que de nombreux autres artistes en R\u00e9publique D\u00e9mocratique du Congo et \u00e0 travers le monde, ont exprim\u00e9 leur profonde tristesse face \u00e0 cette perte pr\u00e9matur\u00e9e.<\/p>\n<p>Mo\u00efse Mukulu, un artiste proche, a partag\u00e9 son chagrin sur les r\u00e9seaux sociaux : &#8220;Mon ami Yves, ce formidable artiste qui incarnait une grande part de la culture congolaise, nous a quitt\u00e9s. Hier, je c\u00e9l\u00e9brais encore son anniversaire, et aujourd&#8217;hui, une profonde d\u00e9solation. L&#8217;art du Kivu perd l&#8217;un de ses principaux rep\u00e8res. Il me manque d\u00e9j\u00e0. Il nous manque d\u00e9j\u00e0 terriblement.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Betty, une artiste de l&#8217;Institut Fran\u00e7ais de Bukavu, a \u00e9galement exprim\u00e9 son chagrin : &#8220;Yves \u00e9tait plus qu&#8217;un ami pour moi, il \u00e9tait comme un membre de ma famille. Il a cr\u00e9\u00e9 des \u0153uvres qui m&#8217;ont profond\u00e9ment touch\u00e9e.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Un responsable local a soulign\u00e9 l&#8217;importance de Yves Kayene pour la culture locale : &#8220;Avec la disparition de Yves Kayene, le monde de la culture perd une l\u00e9gende.
