Cet \u00e9v\u00e9nement, organis\u00e9 par la Ligue de Boxe du Nord-Kivu, a r\u00e9uni des pugilistes des villes de Beni, Butembo (Nord-Kivu) et Bukavu (Sud-Kivu) pour comm\u00e9morer le 64e anniversaire de l&#8217;ind\u00e9pendance de la R\u00e9publique d\u00e9mocratique du Congo<\/strong>.<br><br>Le gala a vu la tenue de huit combats sur les dix initialement pr\u00e9vus. Les cat\u00e9gories repr\u00e9sent\u00e9es comprenaient des combats amateurs (3 rounds), n\u00e9o-professionnels (4 rounds) et semi-professionnels (6 rounds).<br><br>Serge Djamba a confirm\u00e9 sa domination en remportant son troisi\u00e8me combat cons\u00e9cutif. Dans un duel semi-professionnel de six rounds, il a battu Isma\u00ebl Taribo de Bukavu \u00e0 l&#8217;unanimit\u00e9 des juges, poursuivant ainsi sa s\u00e9rie de victoires.<br><br>Jerry Kabangu devait initialement affronter Fifi Mutumbwa Waliso de Beni, mais ce dernier a d\u00e9sist\u00e9 pour non-respect des clauses contractuelles. En d\u00e9pit de ce d\u00e9sistement, la Ligue provinciale du Nord-Kivu a honor\u00e9 Jerry Kabangu pour ses contributions remarquables \u00e0 la boxe au niveau national, africain et mondial. Kabangu a re\u00e7u une ceinture de champion du Congo des mains du repr\u00e9sentant du gouverneur de la province du Nord-Kivu.
