C&#8217;est apr\u00e8s pr\u00e8s d\u2019une ann\u00e9e que le minist\u00e8re congolais des Hydrocarbures avait sign\u00e9 un contrat pour la phase industrielle du d\u00e9gazage du golf de Kabuno dans la province du Nord-Kivu. <br><br>Le lancement officiel de ces travaux du d\u00e9gazage industriel a \u00e9t\u00e9 fait au cours d&#8217;une c\u00e9r\u00e9monie \u00e0 laquelle ont pris part le gouverneur du Nord-Kivu Kivu, le lieutenant g\u00e9n\u00e9ral Constant Ndima, les membres du comit\u00e9 provincial de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 du Nord-Kivu, les ministres des hydrocarbures du Sud-Kivu et autres acteurs oeuvrant dans le domaine des hydrocarbures<br><br>Dans son mot du lancement, le ministre Didier Bundimbu, s&#8217;est d\u00e9clar\u00e9 tr\u00e8s satisfait de la mat\u00e9rialisation de ce projet d\u00e9clench\u00e9 depuis plusieurs ann\u00e9es par plusieurs ministres l&#8217;ayant pr\u00e9c\u00e9d\u00e9 et qui sera un soulagement pour les habitants de la ville de Goma qui courraient &#8220;un danger mortel&#8221; en d&#8217;une &#8220;\u00e9ruption incontr\u00f4l\u00e9e&#8221; du Gaz Carbonique CO2, dissoute dans les eaux du Lac Kivu \u00e0 Kabuno. <br><br>&#8221; Il y a 6 que le minist\u00e8re des Hydrocarbures avait proc\u00e9d\u00e9 \u00e0 l&#8217;installation de deux stations pilotes d\u00e9limitation de gaz carbonique dans le golf de Kabuno. Aujourd&#8217;hui sous l&#8217;impulsion du chef de l&#8217;\u00c9tat et \u00e0 la lumi\u00e8re de l&#8217;\u00e9ruption volcanique de mai 2021, il a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de passer \u00e0 la phase industrielle du d\u00e9gazage nous permettant d&#8217;\u00e9liminer les grandes quantit\u00e9s de gaz carbonique. Pour ce faire la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 Liminologicala Ing\u00e9nieuring a \u00e9t\u00e9 mise en contribution pour concevoir et fournir les \u00e9quipements techniques n\u00e9cessaires pour cette phase sp\u00e9ciale du d\u00e9gazage. Malgr\u00e9 les d\u00e9fis logistiques me concocter, je suis heureux d&#8217;annoncer ce jours que les \u00e9quipements du d\u00e9gazage pour l&#8217;installation de la premi\u00e8re station, sont arriv\u00e9s sur place &#8221; a rassur\u00e9 ce membre du gouvernement Sama Lukonde.<br><br>Notons que plusieurs  \u00e9tudes ont d\u00e9montr\u00e9 qu\u2019au sein de ce lac se trouvent emmagasin\u00e9s plus de 57 milliards de m\u00e8tres cubes du gaz m\u00e9thane qui continuent \u00e0 s\u2019accumuler au fond de l\u2019eau. <br><br>\u00c0 savoir, ce gaz m\u00e9thane du Lac Kivu est accompagn\u00e9 du dioxyde de carbone (C02), d\u2019origine mantellique, qui peut s\u2019\u00e9chapper par l\u2019effet d\u2019un renversement du lac. L\u2019\u00e9chappement pourrait \u00eatre donc provoqu\u00e9 par un s\u00e9isme, un glissement de terrain, en soulevant ce C02 liquide \u00e0 la surface. Or, le C02 liquide est une fois et demie plus lourd que l\u2019air normal.
