Cr\u00e9er en 2007, le boxing club Virunga de la ville de Goma a comm\u00e9mor\u00e9 ses 12 ans d\u2019existence le dimanche le 23 JUIN 2019 sur le ring implant\u00e9 pour cette occasion sur le terrain de volleyball de l\u2019ISC\/Goma avec quelques combats d\u2019exhibitions entre les pugilistes du club dans cet apr\u00e8s midi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A  cette occasion, ce club des pratiquants de la\nboxe a pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 ses m\u00e9dailles d\u00e9j\u00e0 rafl\u00e9es depuis son existence au public\npr\u00e9sent pour  cet \u00e9v\u00e8nement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dans\nsa vitrine, on compte 10 m\u00e9dailles dont huit arrach\u00e9es au pays et deux autres\nen dehors des fronti\u00e8res. Une moisson rassurante pour ce club actuellement en\nmanque de moyen mais qui r\u00e9alise un travail titanesque dans un pays o\u00f9 cette\ndiscipline n\u2019est pas sponsoris\u00e9e.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Connu\nsur l\u2019\u00e9chiquier national gr\u00e2ce aux prestations de ses pugilistes,  le club Virunga a r\u00e9cemment particip\u00e9 au\nchampionnat national de la sp\u00e9cialit\u00e9 avec \u00e0 la cl\u00e9 une m\u00e9daille en argent de Ir\u00e8ne\nKyaviro Kahambu qui avait atteint finale apr\u00e8s l\u2019\u00e9limination de Jerry Kabangu d\u00e9j\u00e0\nm\u00e9daill\u00e9 avec la s\u00e9lection nationale aux jeux africains de la jeunesse en\nAlg\u00e9rie et Ciss\u00e9 Muhindo C\u00e9dric au dernier carr\u00e9.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
