Tenant comptes des r\u00e9v\u00e9lations graves \u00e9manant des certaines indiscr\u00e9tions mettant en \u00e9vidence l’intoxication des habitants de Kasindi, par les insectes comestibles tels que les sauterelles venant de l’Ouganda voisin, et dont plusieurs quantit\u00e9s ont \u00e9t\u00e9 incin\u00e9r\u00e9es en ville commerciale de Butembo la semaine derni\u00e8re, apr\u00e8s l’enregistrement des plusieurs cas des maladies diarrh\u00e9iques.

Le service de quarantaine animale et halieutique (SQAH) antenne du poste frontalier de Kasindi, interdit l’importation des sauterelles \u00e0 partir de l’Ouganda et annonce \u00e0 l’opinion publique que, les analyses sont amorc\u00e9es dans la perspective de d\u00e9nicher la source de l’intoxication alimentaire et d’y apporter une solution adapt\u00e9e, en guise d’assurer la protection de tous les habitants de kasindi-Lubiriha et ses environs.

” Compte tenu de la rumeur qui circule faisant \u00e9tant de l’intoxication de la population par les sauterelles venant de l’Ouganda, nous interdisons momentan\u00e9ment l’importation des sauterelles tout en continuant avec les investigations ” peut-on lire dans le communiqu\u00e9 rendu public ce mardi 22 novembre 2022 par le m\u00e9decin v\u00e9t\u00e9rinaire, Docteur N’Simba Sindano Ridhin chef de bureau, du service de quarantaine animale et halieutique.

Il convient de signaler en outre que, les op\u00e9rateurs \u00e9conomiques de la r\u00e9gion de Beni ville et territoire ainsi que, ceux de la ville commerciale de Butembo importent de mani\u00e8re p\u00e9riodique ces insectes qui font bon commerce.
