Victime d’une embuscade lui tendue le 12 ao\u00fbt 2022 dernier par des pr\u00e9sum\u00e9s Ma\u00ef-Ma\u00ef \u00e0 Kangothe, le commissaire sup\u00e9rieur Nzenze Bavon, commandant second de la ville de Butembo en charge de l’administration, a succomb\u00e9 de ses blessures mercredi 24 ao\u00fbt 2022, apr\u00e8s son \u00e9vacuation \u00e0 Goma, chef-lieu de la province du Nord-Kivu, il y a pr\u00e8s d’une semaine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La nouvelle a \u00e9t\u00e9 confirm\u00e9e ce jeudi 25 ao\u00fbt 2022 par Nasson Murara, coordonnateur ad int\u00e9rim de la cellule de communication de la Police en charge des op\u00e9rations de maintien et r\u00e9tablissement de l\u2019ordre au grand Nord du Nord-Kivu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En pleine mission de service le 12 ao\u00fbt dernier, l’unit\u00e9 de la police nationale congolaise dirig\u00e9e par le commissaire sup\u00e9rieur Nzenze Bavon avait \u00e9t\u00e9 prise \u00e0 partie par des pr\u00e9sum\u00e9s Ma\u00ef-Ma\u00ef soup\u00e7onn\u00e9s d’avoir infiltr\u00e9 une manifestation anti-Monusco \u00e0 Kangothe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Son d\u00e9c\u00e8s porte \u00e0 sept le nombre des \u00e9l\u00e9ments de forces de d\u00e9fense et de s\u00e9curit\u00e9, dont six policiers et un militaire tu\u00e9s lors des manifestations anti-Monusco du 12 ao\u00fbt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
