Cest dans le cadre de la pr\u00e9vention des inondations r\u00e9currentes dans la ville d’Uvira que Th\u00e9o NGWABIDJE KASI, gouverneur du Sud-Kivu vient de proc\u00e9der ce jeudi 23 avril 2020 au lancement des travaux consistant \u00e0 curer les rivi\u00e8res en proie \u00e0 des d\u00e9bordements intempestifs de leurs lits habituels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En pr\u00e9sence de la population et du Pr\u00e9sident de l’assembl\u00e9e provinciale, l’honorable Zacharie LWAMIRA, l’autorit\u00e9 provinciale du Sud-Kivu a fait savoir que ces travaux de grande envergure vont se poursuivre sur la rivi\u00e8re Kavimvira \u00e0 l’aide de ces engins acquis par le Gouvernement provincial du Sud-Kivu dans le cadre d’un projet agricole et r\u00e9quisitionn\u00e9s vue l’urgence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

De m\u00eame, il a indiqu\u00e9 que toute l’\u00e9nergie possible sera d\u00e9ploy\u00e9e pour r\u00e9habiliter les diff\u00e9rents ponts coup\u00e9s sur la route nationale num\u00e9ro 2 \u00e0 la suite des inondations et \u00e9rosions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“En curant les rivi\u00e8res, ceci va nous \u00e9viter des drames pareils car en les remettant dans leurs lits habituels, elles pourront se d\u00e9verser dans le lac sans causer des d\u00e9g\u00e2ts sur leur passage,” a fait remarquer le Chef de l’ex\u00e9cutif provincial en s\u00e9jour \u00e0 Uvira depuis le d\u00e9but de la semaine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En finissant, Th\u00e9o NGWABIDJE KASI, a lanc\u00e9 un appel path\u00e9tique aux partenaires pour acc\u00e9l\u00e9rer les diff\u00e9rents projets int\u00e9grateurs pendant cette p\u00e9riode o\u00f9 la Province a besoin de l’apport des uns et des autres, surtout dans la r\u00e9habilitation des infrastructures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
