Dans le cadre de la poursuite de la campagne sur l’accès humanitaire, le Comité International de la Croix-Rouge sous délégation de Bunia est allé à la rencontre d’une femme, victime de la guerre en territoire de Djugu.
Abattue par la situation d’insécurité qui va de pire en pire, « Voilà, la situation actuelle est devenue encore pire », elle a pris son courage en nous décrivant son trajet jusque dans ce camp de réfugiés. Car elle n’a pas perdu sa famille dans cette débandade à échapper à la mort. « Je viens du village de Malili vers Pokela. Je suis arrivée à Bunia à cause de la guerre. Nous nous sommes enfuis, ensemble avec mes deux enfants, leur père et six petits-enfants. Quand Ils sont arrivés dans notre village, ils ont tué le chef et toute sa famille. Alors nous avons fuis et ils nous ont pourchassés très loin dans la forêt. On n’avait même pas le temps de prendre quelque chose. Arrivé à Kunda, nous nous sommes reposés un peu avec les enfants, car l’endroit était encore calme. Notre plus grande peur était de croiser la route des porteurs d’armes. Aucun enfant perdu sur le trajet. Seulement, nous avons perdu tous nos biens. Chacun s’est enfui seulement avec l’habit qu’il portait. Maintenant, ce sont différentes organisations qui nous viennent en aide ici. Voilà, la situation actuelle est devenue encore pire. Que les humanitaires nous amènent des provisions, car nous n’avons plus rien.»
Aussi victime du traumatisme de la guerre et de la situation que traverse actuellement sa famille, l’interlocutrice reste remplie d’espoir. Elle compte sur les humanitaires pour le soutien d’urgence, « Maintenant, ce sont différent/es organisations qui nous viennent en aide ici… Que les humanitaires nous amènent des provisions, car nous n’avons plus rien ».
